Privacy policy
Simtrotter (“we”) is the data controller for personal data collected on Simtrotter.
What we collect
- Order data: name, e-mail address, country, optional phone number, items purchased.
- Payment data is processed by our payment provider; we never see your full card number.
- eSIM data: the ICCID and activation details of the eSIMs issued to you, needed to deliver support.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited, through cookies and analytics (see cookie policy).
Why we use it
- To deliver the eSIM and provide support (performance of the contract).
- To prevent fraud and comply with accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation, legitimate interest).
- To send service e-mails about your order. Marketing e-mails are sent only with your consent and can be stopped at any time.
Who receives it
Our eSIM connectivity partner (to issue the profile), the payment provider, our e-mail delivery service and hosting provider. All act under contract and only for the purposes above. Data may be transferred outside the EU/UK under standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice data for as long as required by tax law (typically 6–10 years); account data until you delete your account; technical logs up to 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to hello@simtrotter.local. You can complain to your local data protection authority.
